Very exciting day today, we’re shooting the Engagement session for Kara and Paul. Went location scouting yesterday at Walt Disney Concert Hall and El Matador beach.

Hey Kevin,

I love the last picture, nice self-portrait. Keep up the good work!

Great pics Kevin!

Excited to see snap grow, good luck with you guys’ business!

what kind of camera do you use to take pictures?

Hi John,
We use a selection of Canon 10, 20, 30Ds, which are fairly inexpensive Digital SLRs.
It’s the lenses that gives us our magical powers. Thanks for visiting.

10d? Isn’t that like super old!?

Even I have a 30d, and I don’t make a dime off of photography!

Great shots though, probably all from 30d huh? haha!

Hey Nick,

I’m guessing you may be at the discovery stage of photography. 30D is a lovely camera with lots of a professional functionality. Keep in mind though, no amount of functionality is going to take picture for you, not yet anyway.

A popular cliché saying goes “It’s the photographer, not the camera”. I’d venture to add that camera takes the picture, photographers makes images.

If taking picture is what you’re looking for, you should be proud of your 30D. If it’s creating the best possible image, then start taking pride of your eyes, art, creativity.

Camera is a tool, let it do its job and you do yours. Good luck!

Hi Kev,

Great pictures! Do you do any photography outside of weddings? Really enjoyed your work.

Hi Nancy!
Thanks! I take pictures of my travels and the crazy food I eat sometimes, sometimes I take pictures of my friends for fun. Matt and I are also available to do portrait sessions. So yeah, lots of photgrapy outside of weddings.

Thanks again and feel free to drop by anytime!

Something to say?
