Posted by Kevin on August 15th, 2006Best Steak Ever? Maaaaybe. It’s certainly simple and easy to prepare. Credit goes to Pastor Ron Rothenberg, who says he got it from his mentor. In any case, use the best meat you can find, I only use ribeye.
Ingredients:
Ribeye steak, 1 1/4 inches thick. (It’s hard to beat Costco’s 3 pack)
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder

Ketchup Beef Stew
Posted by Kevin on August 14th, 2006This is comfort food territory, what with the fried rice and now the beef stew. Next time we’ll do something a bit more hard core, but this is still weekday dinner territory we’re working through.
Ingredients:
Onions - 3
Stew Meat - 4 lb
Ketchup - Large bottle
Star Anise: 8-10
